A chemical peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin which work by removing the surface layers of the skin in order to expose the fresh and unaffected layers below. Chemical peels don’t really peel the skin, despite what the name implies. They rapidly exfoliate the skin, allowing dead skin cells to shed more effectively. The skin that grows back is smoother. Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, discolored skin and scars usually on the face.
Depending on the issues you're addressing with the procedure, you'll choose a chemical peel in one of three depths:
We offer different Chemical peels like yellow peel, Black Peel, Sali peel, Glycolic acid peel and Combination Peels.
Chemical peels can't remove deep scars or wrinkles or tighten sagging skin.
After a chemical peel of any depth, your skin will be red, tight, irritated or swollen. Follow your doctor's directions for sun protection, cleansing, moisturizing and applying protective ointments to your skin.
It may take several weeks before your skin colour returns to normal and you can see the full results of the peel.
